About Chris

Chris is the lead portfolio manager of the UK Mid-Cap and UK Multi-Cap strategies.

Chris joined Framlington Equities in 2005 as a portfolio manager on the UK desk, responsible for the management of a number of pension funds focused on UK small and mid-cap companies.

Initially in charge of the UK Smaller Companies strategy, Chris extended his remit by launching the UK Mid-Cap strategy in 2011 and being involved in the Multi-Cap strategy.

Prior to joining Framlington Equities, Chris worked at Foreign & Colonial, where he progressed from equity analyst to lead manager on four institutional FTSE Small Cap funds. In 2003, he was promoted to lead manager of the UK small cap retail funds. Chris began his career at Pricewater-houseCoopers in 1995 as part of the London Middle Market Business Advisory Service.

Chris graduated from Durham University in 1995 with an Honour’s degree in Philosophy and Psychology and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1998.
