Could you access our funds more cheaply?
We want to be sure you are investing in our funds in the most cost-effective way. All our funds have different ‘share/unit classes’ to reflect the different types of investors that might want to invest with us, from a private individual to a large institution like a company pension fund. Each of these share/unit classes has a different price, called an ‘Ongoing Charges Figure’ (OCF) which covers the fees and costs involved in managing the fund, from the Annual Management Charge (AMC) to other costs that make up the OCF.
We are able to offer cheaper OCFs for share/unit classes that attract bigger investors, whether that’s an individual or organisation with more money to invest, or someone who accesses our funds via a collective ‘fund platform’. Please visit our website to see our full range of funds and the share/unit classes available.
We want to draw your attention to the fact that you could be currently investing with us in the most expensive ‘R’ share/unit class. This means you may be able to invest more cheaply in the same fund by investing through a third party provider, giving you access to the lower AMC which forms part of the OCF for the share/unit classes their bigger buying power allows. Please note that fund platforms will charge their own additional administration costs, but this may well still be cheaper overall than investing directly with us.
We are not able to provide you with any financial advice and we recommend that you consult your financial adviser before taking any action.
